Polarised lenses can be tested by using a known polarising lens (from another, known, pair of Polaroids), Put one lens in front of the other and look through both lenses at the same time, Rotate one lens relative to the other around an axis perpendicular to both lenses, and you should see your view through the lenses change from clear to dark or vice versa as each lens polarises the light going through it. Purchased these to replace clip on sunglasses that I found very heavy. They are comfortable. Fit well over my prescription glasses and do what they are supposed to. Living in sunny Cornwall I find it necessary to wear them when driving nearly all the time and I am very happy with them
I have a pair of prescription (distance) sunglasses for driving but as recently my eyes have become very light sensitive, I was told by my optician that a second pair for daily use would help my eyes. I couldn't afford another prescription pair so decided to tr glacier sunglasses ey do the job in protecting eyes from sun. arrived in one day. it is nice to have some additional sunglasses for a long holiday.
